Here's what the humans have to say about me:
? TINKERBELLE ? AKA TINK
WANTS TO BE YOUR ONE & ONLY
Fostered in: Bethel, CT
Breed: Boxer & Black Mouth Cur mix
Age: Approximately 2 years
Weight: Approximately 50lbs
Health Notes: Healthy
Kids: Yes!
Cats: Yes!
Dogs: No, wants to be your one & only!
Fenced Yard: Preferred but not required
Adoption Fee: Adult dog adoption fee $300
Here is a little note about Tink from her foster mom: "This is our new foster..she was found tied to a tree in Manhattan and brought to the shelter by the police. She was on the kill list. She is too thin..you can see every rib, and her nails are as long as I've ever seen. She arrived at our house about 5 this afternoon after spending a few hours with my daughter Tess and her s/o Matteo..she smelled terribly so their friends were calling her Stinky. .and she seemed to respond..obviously wouldn't do..she is now "Tink" or Tinkerbelle...and after 2 baths, no longer smells. She needs to learn some manners..has to learn cats are not to be messed with, and dogs like you better when you are polite. .but after a few hours she is already knowing her boundaries. She has had her shots, will be spayed, and taught some manners. Unsure of her breed but she looks like a "black mouth cur" an intelligent strong willed hunting dog reported to have been bred in the southern US.:
Update 11/10/15 Think really wants to be an only dog. While she is in a home with dogs right now, she becomes too jealous of the other dogs & therefore we feel she is a one-dog-only home type of dog... thank you!
