My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buddy is a Walker Hound mix that made the quick trip North from South Carolina during the heavy rains to get out of the flooded shelter and find his forever family.

He is a Male, approximately 5 years old, weighs about 65 lbs, is up to date on all his shots, is neutered, housebroken and crate trained.

While Buddy is a very mild mannered dog who loves everyone, including small children and other dogs, he has not been cat tested. He loves attention and will insist that you scratch his head or rub his back. He also loves to chew bones and when he's done will bury them, even if its under your bed pillows. He pulls a bit on a leash but will learn quickly as he is very eager to please. He also likes to "counter surf" a bit, but we are working on that.

Buddy will make an excellent companion for any type of family. He would do best in a home with a fenced in yard as he loves to be outside.

He is currently living with his foster mom and 4 other doggie siblings.
