My story

AVAILABLE 08-24-15 On August 18 poor Duke was pretty happy when he saw the open can of cat food just sitting there calling his name. Of course, he was pretty hungry so he ran to the can only to hear something slam behind him. Unfortunately, it was the door of a cat trap. An Animal Control Officer soon came to pick up the trap with Duke in it and took both to the Animal Shelter. It didn't take us long to realize that Duke was a sweet friendly boy who was just at the wrong place at the wrong time; but now he was at the right place. We gave him his vaccinations, food, water, toys, a bed and a litter box. Duke has done well with other cats here at the Shelter. He's also very people friendly. We're thinking he's about 5 years old, so Duke qualifies for our SOS (Save Our Seniors) program. If his adopter is age 65 or older, his adoption fee is half.
