Hi! My name is "T-I-double-g-er! That spells Tigger!" You can call me Tigg.
I am a charming, 2 year old, hound/lab mix with perhaps a bit of Mastiff thrown in. I have the most beautiful colouring - brindle, with black and brown and orange! - hence my name. My ears are big and droopy and my long, graceful tail is always up. In short, I am very beautiful. Make sure you check out my photos.
HALDR rescued me from a neglectful owner, he was going to shoot me!! I am currently at a Kennel waiting for a foster or a forever home to take me in. The Kennel is interesting, I have been watching the other dogs playing but I am still a bit too shy to go out and play with them. I am submissive and polite to other dogs. A home with another dog that could help guide and teach me would be great! I’m not sure how I will react to cats as I've never been seen around one.
In addition to my good looks, my charming personality will win you over. I adore people, even perfect strangers. The kennel owners have meet thousands of dogs and say that I am one of the most fantastic dogs they have ever met. I am just so very nice and pleasant, they say.
I am also a very polite dog and don't jump up on people, and I know how to sit but not much else. So I will need some training as my former owner didn't bother spending any time with me. You couldn't find a dog more eager to please than me so training me should be easy. As soon as I understand what it is you want me to do, I am more than willing to do it. I am so well behaved that although I LOVE hotdogs, even when someone put some down right within my reach and walked away, I left them untouched as i didn't have permission.
Whoever adopts me is going to get one of the nicest and most loving companions anyone could ask for. I am neutered, microchipped and up to date on my vaccinations. My adoption fee is $450.
