My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

AVAILABLE 10-08-15 They received Mocha as a gift when she was just a puppy. They were so excited when they first got her, but that was a year ago and now their "schedule does not allow tham to keep her". So on
10-05-125 they called for an Animal Control Officer to come pick Mocha up and bring her to the Animal Shelter. Mocha is pretty much Boxer with her black muzzle and docked tail. Although they didn't give the Officer a lot of information, the owner did tell him that Mocha is housetrained and a lap lover. Mocha walks pretty well on leash, but is only a year old, so still has some playful energy. She seems to know what "sit" means and when told to do so, she will stop in mid-run and SIT. We have given Mocha her vaccinations and started her on heart worm prevention. Mocha would probably benefit from a fenced yard where she could run and play, then come in for a nice nap. If you have another dog, we recommend that you bring the resident dog to the Shelter to meet Mocha to make sure they like each other. But first, you need to come and see if you like her - so please come to the Shelter in Elizabeth city and meet Mocha.
