Mr. Jiggs is a 9 yr old, 3 lb boy that came to United Yorkie Rescue in February of 2015. He is house trained but needs some assistance outside due to some leg stiffness, so stairs are out of the question for this cutie and he needs to be helped onto your lap as he can’t jump and needs monitoring to not jump down on his own or possibly injure himself. Due to his size he will need a home with no children and other dogs his size, preferably he’ll be King of the castle as the only dog as a quiet home is preferable. Mr. Jiggs was an owner surrender that came into a Sioux City shelter, because his owner traveled too much and no longer had time for him. He was malnourished and weak, and in dire need of a dental cleaning. He had 7 teeth extracted at his cleaning and since his dental and his foster mamma feeding him high quality food, he’s developed a good appetite.
This little boy would be ideal for a retired couple or individual who is looking for a snuggle companion, he has lots of love to give!
