My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Walter is a sweet puppy who is playful and loves to cuddle. He does great with other dogs, cats, kids, people, etc. He did give us quite a scare about 4 weeks ago when he had 3 seizures. After extensive bloodwork and a four day hospital stay, our vet ruled out serious complications and believes that he was pushed out of the food bowl and had a hypoglycemic event from not eating. It has been 4 weeks without any further seizures and he is a normal puppy, eating, drinking, playing and growing. We cannot guarantee that it will never happen to him again, but we will always take him back should something come up in the future.

Walter is a 10 week old Labrador Retriever mix who came to us with his siblings and mom when he was 2 days old. His mom was a stray, who ended up in a shelter, so we are unsure who the father was.

Adoption Fee: $350, which includes age-appropriate vaccinations, up-to-date monthly heartworm preventative and microchip with lifetime enrollment. Puppies must be spayed/neutered by 6 months of age; we will cover the cost of the procedure only if is done at our vet in West Bloomfield, MI. Should you choose to have the procedure done at your own veterinarian, we will reimburse $50 of the adoption fee upon receipt of the veterinary bill.
