Shot gun! Miss Maddie is ready to ride passenger side to her forever home.

Maddie lives for car rides. She currently spends her week with her dear friend on his trucking route around Canada. She is most comfortable when she is in the car and would make for a great travel or work companion.

Maddie is eager to please and waits patiently for instructions. She’s very food motivated and will do anything for a treat, so as a result she knows plenty of basic commands. With a little effort, Maddie should be an obedience super star! She is a medium energy dog that enjoys to lay around or is happy to get out and be active.

Maddie gets along well with other dogs after a gradual introduction, and does well with cats. She prefers a home with no small children as she lack confidence; gentle handling and a lot of praise will help boost Maddie’s confidence. Maddie can get unsure in new surroundings and is easily stressed, so a good routine is a must.
