My basic info
Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Poor little Lola was found all by her lonesome in Scituate, a sad sniffly kitten who was brought to an emergency vet by a Good Samaritan before she came to our shelter. She got her medicines and is feeling much better now, but while she recovered, she couldn't be with the other kittens, and is such a forlorn lass right now. She takes any bit of loving she can get from her human companions – she's just a sweet little purring machine, and she doesn't want to let go. Lonely Lola needs to make up for the time she lost getting over the sniffles – both play-time and love-time. Because she did not come in as part of a litter, she is a tiny bit timid, but only by her surroundings, not by people. She loves everyone who holds her, volunteers and total strangers alike.
UPDATE: Lola was able to move in with Little Fruit Bat, another solo kitten who also had the sniffles and was badly in need of kitten-companionship. She absolutely adores her new "sister" and they are really enjoying catching up on all the kitten playtime they missed when they were convalescing from their sniffles.
Lonely Lola is estimated to be about 3 months old as of mid-October. Though she saw a vet for her sniffles, she has not yet been tested for FIV or FeLV. A state-mandated $75 spay deposit is required to adopt Lonely Lola, and is fully refundable upon proof of spaying (cash or check payable to Town of Scituate only, please).
