My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sunset Animal Rescue prefers that all dogs have a securely fenced yard.
Scrappy is one of the puppies in the litter of four that was short haired. Two were like their Dad, a Shih Tzu, with long hair. Two were short haired from their Mother's very mixed background, a Yorkie/Chihuahua and a Jack Russell/Boston Terrier. All put together he looks like a Chihuahua/ Pug mix and is 6 lbs. His color is almost silver with a black mask.
He was released to us by his first owner who did not have the time to train, socialize, or give love he needed. She was a good person that took care of his medical needs and properly fed him, but just did not have the time to spend with him because of her work load.
She said he reminded her of Scrappy Doo from the cartoons. He likes all dogs & does not appear to be afraid of either big or small. He likes to be held most of the time but also is enjoying playing outdoors with his new toys. We have had no trouble potty training him. He is on Trifexis for fleas and heartworms. He eats Iams puppy.
Scrappy is a happy, healthy, active, smart puppy that will give years of happiness to someone ready to give and receive genuine love.
