My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kukula, Fran and Ollie....................... All siblings. They are about 5 months old.

All spayed/neutered, vaccinated, flea treated, tested negative for any feline diseases, de-wormed and MICRO-CHIPPED.

Kukula (means doll in Greek) is a female. She is the one in the back right side (with the most swirly colors). She will sit in your lap for hours and will eventually start to purr and purr. She is totally non-aggressive. He markings are very cool/different.

Fran is the littlest kitten in the front with the most white. She is super soft and has a dark tail. She is totally non-aggressive and meek but sweet when being held on a lap. She really likes love when she's getting it. Once she's picked up and put on a lap and gets petting she starts purring.

Ollie is the spotty boy in the back left corner. He's a sweet boy. Also non-aggressive. He's very cute and the bulkiest of the three. He is a little goofy. He too will sit on a lap and after some time will start to purr.

They have real interesting markings....................

These guys were just babies when they were rescued from under a car cover. They were being fed by a family in Spring Hill after they discovered them living under a car cover between the hood and the windshield.

They came to Cat Crusaders REALLY scared. They have made leaps and bounds during the socialization process.

When I place them on my lap they instantly LOVE it. They settle in nicely for a good petting and purr but........ as soon as I put them down they forget just how nice it was:) So I go and get them again and repeat the process. They have come so far with this type of socialization but they will need someone who has patience, LOVE and understanding of what they have been through who is willing to put in the effort to go and get them and continue this process.

They are not scared of me or other people. They play with me, my dogs and other cats. They play with each other right in front of me. They come to me when it's time to eat or to get treats. It's just the whole picking them up thing. They like to run and make me do the work of going and getting them. Then they love sitting in my lap getting pet all over again.

It's a total trust thing. Once they trust 100% then that behavior will stop and they will start to come on their own. Trust comes with time. In two months time they have come so very far in behavior. It's quite possible that they associate me with medicine!! Because right when they were beginning to trust me they came down with kitty colds and I had to medicate them and they DID NOT like that!! They are all better from their colds but they probably think that when I go to get them that I want to give them bad tasting medicine.

The reason I think this is because another kitten who just got adopted who also would make me chase her down to try and love on her is now in a new home and VERY affectionate and loving towards her new owner. She'd run FROM me and run TO her. And I'm the one who saved her. LOL.

They are totally non-aggressive. They do not bite or scratch and are actually very sweet kitties.

They are very PLAYFUL and love to play with their human and each other. They love to chase laser lights and balls and love to run and jump.

I'm very honest about personalities because I want to make sure that I find the right person for each individual kitty.

So being honest.................. these guys truly are loving and respond well to love but they will not just come when called:) You will have to go to them and remind them often that they are loved and it is safe. They really WANT to be loved. Every time I pick one up they respond to it right away.

But they may act towards you completely different like that other kitten did to her new owner.

Eventually it will click and they could potentially become lap kitties. I just know that they will given the chance. They will sit in my lap for hours one end when I put them there.

I really think that they'd LOVE a nice lanai to hang out in or a enclosed porch with lots of windows to look out. They really like hanging out on their cat tree and looking out of the window at the birds and the squirrels:)

They are all litter trained and use their scratching posts like good kitties.

I believe this so much and I want them to get homes so badly that I am PERSONALLY willing to pay their adoption fees IF you would be willing to open your heart and your home to one or more of them.

So they are FULLY VETTED and FREE if you meet the following requirements as listed below........

I ask a lot of adoption questions, so please be prepared for that.

A home visit is required as with all of our adoptions to make sure that they go to a safe and comfortable home. It's a quick visit. Not to get into your business or to check if you have dishes in your sink or your beds made:) Just to make sure that they will be in a safe environment.

You must promise to not de-claw them.

You must promise to keep them as INDOOR kitties only.

You must promise to give them at the very least 30 days to get comfortable in their new home. If you cannot promise ONE FULL MONTH then please do not respond to this post. It is only fair to give them the proper time to get used to the new smells, sounds, other pets and voices in their new home.

If, however after the full 30 days you feel for one reason or another that they are just not working out for your family then I will take them back, no questions.

Want to just help me out and take one to FOSTER and SOCIALIZE? I would pay for food and vetting. All you would do is socialize in YOUR home until they each find a forever home.

I would do all the work finding the home and screening the new adopter and then you could take another kitty to socialize and on and on. THIS really helps the RESCUE process:)

Socialization is just sooooo important in finding homes for kitties. It's my experience that each new foster home builds up that socialization and creates a friendlier, more trusting kitty.

Please CALL me with any questions or to set up an appointment to meet these sweet babies.
