Located in Bristow, VA: Miley is a Coton de Tulear (sister to the Maltese) who will celebrate her first birthday on November 16th. Miley loves to run and play but is a total lap dog. She loves to cuddle and will lay with you as long as you will lay with her. She is motivated when praised. She has attended puppy kindergarten and learned several commands. Miley is very much afraid of males but warms up quickly to females. Miley has a severe overbite but it does not hinder her eating. If her muzzle is left long you can not notice it. She has done well with her foster brothers and sisters but is insecure when they get too rough around her. Miley is heartworm negative and up-to-date on her shots. The breeder has confirmed that both Miley's parents are CMR2 (Canine Multifocal Retinopathy Type 2) carriers. CMR2 is a hereditary disease similar to Best Macular Dystrophy Disease (BMD) in humans. Both are retinal disorders. In affected puppies, symptoms usually begin before 4 months of age. Miley has not shown any symptoms to date. Miley would do best in a home with a loving affectionate female--no males. She might warm up to a male but I think it would take allot of time and patience.
