Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pepper is a playful Lhasa Apso. Seen wondering the neighborhood for several days, her rescuer became concerned for her safety and took her in. She posted the dog on Facebook to try to find the owner. The owner responded with a family photo that included Pepper and said she no longer wanted the dog and the rescuer could keep her. Unable to do that (she already had two very large dogs of her own) she contacted the Safehouse. Pepper is a beautiful Lhasa, born in 2013 (we don't know the exact date). She is well behaved, friendly in a typical reserved Lhasa Apso way, and house and leash trained. She has a lush tan and brown non-shedding coat and weighs just 10 pounds, Pepper is very noisy when approached by strangers, wary and unsure, still trying to adjust to her new life, not aggressive just fearful and untrusting. A sweet, loving, affectionate, goofy and playful youngster. Pepper needs to learn she is safe and loved. That will take time but when she is ready we will help her find her new home and forever family. Pepper is spayed, has a microchip, is current on all vaccines, heartworm and flea/tick preventative, and has had a complete physical and dental. Pepper is not yet ready for adoption, when she is her adoption fee will be $300..
