My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We will do our best to answer your questions in this profile. If you have further questions please email us @ forsacredhearts@gmail.com ~ DO NOT call us unless you have filled out an adoption application which is located near the bottom of our home page @ www.sacredhearts.petfinder.com ~ Many times we speak to a person for 30 minutes or more about a dog only to find out, after receiving the application, that there are several factors that prevent us from placing the dog in the home. We run a shelter and that 30 minutes is precious time taken away from the animals here, please respect this.

All dogs/cats here are spayed/neutered, dewormed, heartworm tested ( cats are FeLV/FIV Tested), on heartworm prevention, current on vaccines and microchipped, UNLESS otherwise stated.

Story of rescue: Ginni was running stray and was very very pregnant and ended up at our rescue 1 week before birthing. Ginni had six little babies, all of which she lost due to the inability to birth them (they were too large). Ginni had a c-section after 2 puppies were too big to be born. The saddest part of Ginni's story is that, once the c-section was performed, our vet could see muliple c-section scars, indicating Ginni had been bred and operated on many times, deliberately. Ginni is now spayed and deserves a family to love her forever.

Please research the breed you are applying for @ www.dogbreedinfo.com ~ Some breeds to not fit is some homes ~
