We will do our best to answer your questions in this profile. If you have further questions please email us @ forsacredhearts@gmail.com ~ DO NOT call us unless you have filled out an adoption application which is located near the bottom of our home page @ www.sacredhearts.petfinder.com ~ Many times we speak to a person for 30 minutes or more about a dog only to find out, after receiving the application, that there are several factors that prevent us from placing the dog in the home. We run a shelter and that 30 minutes is precious time taken away from the animals here, please respect this.
All dogs/cats here are spayed/neutered, dewormed, heartworm tested ( cats are FeLV/FIV Tested), on heartworm prevention, current on vaccines and microchipped, UNLESS otherwise stated.

Story of Rescue: Tucker has been passed around quite a bit. He initially came into rescue horribly thin and very angry with other dogs. Most likely he has seen some hungry days and even had to fight for his food. Although Tucker is a complete sweetheart with his family, he will not tolerate living with other dogs. We are not expecting this to change, so Tucker needs to be the only dog in the house.
