My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Callie is a 7 year old red wire hair female dachshund. She and her companion "Bandit" were abandoned by their owners as they went through an angry, bitter divorce. The dogs were given away to the first people that would take them, and ended up going through several homes before an experienced rescuer was able to get them to our organization.

Callie is a darling, loveable dog who loves to cuddle up in the chair with you, take walks and investigate any goodies you might drop while cooking! She is being groomed this week by a professional, and once that has been done, we will get pictures of her posted. This little dog is easy to live with, and gets along easily with other dogs. Once you meet this dog, you will fall in love with her!
