My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jake is a sweetheart. Good with dogs, cats and kids. He's a true lapdog and very affectionate. He LOVES tennis balls and often has one in his mouth. He's a pro at fetch! He's a joy to have around. Jake is 1-2 years old and about 7 pounds. He is fully vetted, neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250.

Happy Tails Rescue Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based rescue based in Munster, Indiana. We have no shelter, all of our animals are cared for in loving foster homes until their forever home match is found. All of our animals are fully vetted before adoption, including distemper, rabies, and bordatella vaccines, a heartworm test, fecal test, microchip, and are spayed/neutered. Adoption fees range from $150-$350. If you're interested in meeting one of our animals please fill out an application first. If approved we will then arrange a meet and greet. Happy Tails does not do same day adoptions because we do a short home visit to make sure our animals are being placed in safe environments.
