Here's what the humans have to say about me:
*Cindy currently lives in Houston and is available for local or out-of-town adoption to a family that is full of fun, love and adventure.*
Cindy is estimated to be about 17 weeks old and 20 pounds. Cindy is a gorgeous brindle and white Plott Hound mix and you really must see this beautiful coat to appreciate it! Our best guess from her current size and age is that she will be between 40-45 pounds as an adult. She and her siblings were all rescued from the city shelter in Houston and named after the Brady Bunch kids.
She is really cuddly and loves to play tug of war with her rope toy. She was a little shy at first, but now she is very inquisitive and walks right up to everyone to get to know them. She's all silly puppy and very affectionate. She is in a foster home with small kids and gets along very well with them. She follows the kids around the house all day and sleeps with them at night. She’s definitely a snuggle bunny at night! She enjoys spending time outside playing in the yard and especially the grass. She loves to run through the yard and explore everything it has to offer. She also likes to play in the water so far, so we think that she will love the beach and water activities too.
Cindy is about 95% house trained and improving by the day. She hasn’t had an accident inside in a whole week, which is great progress for her age. She is doing really well on her leash training and has almost mastered the sit command too. She is working on the wait command before her meals and is starting to understand. She is crate trained and stays in her crate while her family is at school and work. She is still a puppy and needs a patient new owner to help her continue to learn more skills and improve on the ones she has learned. She's treat motivated, which is very helpful for continued lessons. She would really enjoy and excel at a puppy obedience class with her new family.
She has had all of her puppy vaccinations and is microchipped already too. She has not been spayed yet because she is too young. She’s a healthy and happy young pup and ready to join her new family and begin her amazing new life.
Cindy is living with her foster mom in Houston, but is the adventurous type and like to make her home in a pet-friendly area with lots of walking trails and dog parks. Her adoption fee is $250. If you are interested in adding this beauty to your pack, please email us at adoptions@reggiesfriends.org or fill out the adoption application on our website, www.reggiesfriends.org, under the Adoptables tab.
