Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mittens is a DOLL. She has absolutely the sweetest disposition ever! She is sweetness on top of sweetness. She is currently being fostered by a couple who LOVE her soooo much and they would LOVE to talk to you about her personality............... She is a LOVER and will greet you like a dog at the door. She will hop in your lap and she will sleep in the bed or recliner with you if you let her.
She has the cutest "checkerboard" face/chin and her pics don't even come close to just how beautiful she really is in person.
She has recently been spayed, vaccinated including rabies, flea treated and de-wormed and she's ready to go to a forever home.
Mittens is just a baby. She is just under a year old.
I LOVE HER because her personality is HUGE. She really makes me smile. She loves to please. She is super gentle and a total LAP KITTY.
She is ALWAYS making biscuits with her paws as soon as you go near her. She makes biscuits in the air when you pick her up. AND she PURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRS like a motor boat.
THIS KITTY IS A LOVER!! She LOVES to snuggle and cuddle.
As soon as someone's butt hits the chair she is in that lap and will sleep there for as long as you let her. She also likes to climb in bed when it's night, night time:)
She loves people is great with mellow dogs but has a tendency to get bullied by other cats because she is so non-confrontational. I'm sure she'd really appreciate going to a home as the only kitty. She seems to be on edge with other kitties and doesn't act like her normal sweet self.
This sweet little girl will make anyone a great companion. She'd be great for a single person, an elderly couple, a little girl, a retired person or just about any safe and comfy home environment.
She is FREE to the right home but there are certain requirements that must be met.
Here are the requirements to adopt this very special little girl......................
I ask a lot of adoption questions, not to get in your business but to make sure that she gets into the right home and is a good fit for you and your family. I also do home visits. It's quick and easy. It's just to see if your home is safe for her, not to see if you have dishes in your sink:) No pressure:)
You must promise to keep her as an INDOOR kitty only. If she got outside she would get lost or seriously hurt not to mention that she HATES it outside now that she's away from danger and safe and sound in a home. Also..... Statistics tell us that an outdoor cat has an average lifespan of only about 2-3 years whereas an indoor cat has an average lifespan of about 14-15 years. Reason enough!!
You must be able to afford to care for her needs, food, treats, toys, litter and vet care as needed
You must promise to NOT de-claw her. If you desire a de-clawed cat there are some already out there looking for homes.
You must promise to give her at the very least ONE FULL MONTH (30 days) to get adjusted in your home. If you CANNOT promise to give her the FULL 30 DAYS required then please DO NOT respond to this post. It can take some cats longer than others to adjust and they ALL deserve the necessary time it takes to do that.
However, if after the FULL 30 DAYS you decide for one reason or another that she is just not a good fit for you and your family I will take her back without question. We want all involved to be happy with the living arrangements, the cat and the humans:)
**ALL of our cats and kittens live in foster homes and have been socialized and worked with just like they are part of a family. They are not left in a cage/crate but LOVED and handled.
Please CALL ME for more information or to set up an appointment to meet this beautiful kitty.
Thanks,
