Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

This absolutely adorable pup is Twix. He is very sweet and loves to cuddle. But don’t let that fool you. Twix is a very high energy and smart boy. Recently neutered he is still working through that life change. He is about a year and a half old, 35 solid and compact pounds, and is about 18 inches tall. He loves romping, racing, and chasing a ball and is learning about flying discs! (Frisbees) He is good with other dogs but has on occasion shown some tendency toward resource guarding when playing with his Foster sister.
He requires a fenced yard as he will chase squirrels, bunnies, and anything else that moves quickly, which makes him a candidate for a home without cats. He absolutely loves and adores people, kids included, and wants to meet everyone that he encounters. He is working on some manners when he greets people as well as sit, come, and stay. He spends time in his crate/kennel when he’s home and is learning how to “stay” in his crate/kennel until released.
Twix is enrolled in a weekly obedience class and will be learning to walk on a lead without pulling as well as some additional socialization skills. Left to his own devices he will dig and when he managed to break out of his crate/kennel he did have a lot of fun with a particular pillow that didn’t survive. Granted this was the day after he was neutered and I think the prolonged confinement was just too much for this active boy.
Twix has been with me only two weeks and I’m certain that with additional training, exercise, and focus that he will grow to become a wonderful sport dog for the right family.
