My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cookie is approximately 25 lbs and 3 or 4 years old. She was found as a stray on a very busy Chattanooga street. It was evident that she had given birth to puppies not too long ago, but was very neglected and hungry. Cookie was friendly and gentle from the first moment.

Cookie does well with other dogs and will play with some. She is not a fan of too much chaos and while she currently lives with other dogs and would do well in a house with other dogs, she would probably be just fine in a home with no other dogs. She enjoys the companionship of a human and life without other dogs around would be OK.

Cookie loves to snuggle and likes to spend time laying at your feet or at the end of the bed. When it's time for sleep or extra comfort, she'll snuggle right up next to you.

Cookie has been a quiet girl in her foster home, only barking when there's something to bark at. She is motivated by food and treats, but she isn't greedy or grabby either.

Cookie is doing well on her housetraining, but will need to continue her training in a new home so she knows the same rules apply!

Prior to adoptions, all dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age appropriate), heartworm tested, microchipped and are kept up to date on flea/tick and heartworm preventative.

Adoption fees are $300 for dogs up to 8 years of age and $200 for 8+ years.
