THIS IS A COURTESY POST. Lane passed away 5/14/22. Tina was his foster. contact us if you are interested. Lane is a low maintenance sweetie. He is great on a leash and car rides and loves to cuddle! Unfortunately, he’s been in a belly band for years so he will either need to stay in a belly band or need training for housebreaking. He needs to work on his manners with barking when he is excited and taking treats like a gentleman. He has not been around children and will do best with adult(s) and being an only dog. He was noted to have a grade 3 heart murmur but he does not suffer issues from this nor does the vet require meds.. Many years ago, Lane came into rescue bc he was dropped at a shelter by his "backyard breeder" saying he was a trash dog. What she meant was he was sick and she wasn't going to pay to get him better!. He is approximately 10 years old. He is neutered, tested, microchipped, and is on preventatives. He has a lovely personality. He is so happy, he does need some guidance regarding in-door manners.If interested in adopting, please visit www.masrescue.org and click on "Adopt Here". The adoption fee is $250.00. Please Note: 100% of all the adoption fees collected are used to care for the animals, and pay our ever increasing vet bill. Once your completed application is submitted by you and approved by MASR, we will be glad to schedule your visit. This dog has been examined by our vet, spayed or neutered (if not previously done), vaccinations updated, heartworm negative, and has been microchipped. Breed Selection is 'Best Efforts' given by shelter staff, veterinarians and rescue volunteers. NO guarantees are implied. Please note that small breeds are not well designed for families with young children as everything about them is more delicate and will require careful handling.
