Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
PLEASE NOTE: JAX IS LOCATED IN JACKSONVILLE, NC! YOU MUST BE WILLING TO DRIVE THERE TO PICK UP AT ADOPTION TIME. WE DO NOT SHIP ANY ANIMALS!
Jax, our 10 months old pure bred male BLUE Doberman is looking for his forever home. His owner had to surrender him due to a change in family circumstances. He is up to date on all vaccines, rabies, microchipped and neutered. His ears and tail are cropped.
Jax doesn't meet a stranger, be it dog or people. He loves everyone. He weights about 70 lbs now and isn't grown yet, just born in Dec 2014. Rides well in the car, has EXCELLENT house manners, although since he's so young he will pull on the leash when he wants to play and run.
He would do best in a home who can offer him not only a forever home, but lots of exercise and room to roam and play. We highly recommend a home with another high energy dog. Jax was boarded often due to family circumstances, he's a puppy and a Doberman, so this equals extreme high energy. If he has another dog to play with, this wears him and he's very calm indoors. He's not much of a barker at all, rarely makes noise, but he does love to play non stop.
Due to his energy and size, he's too much for smaller dogs and young children. He doesn't realize he's so much larger than either of them and tends to play too rough. We recommend Jax be adopted in a home with no children under 10. Jax would greatly benefit in a home with obedience training, positive enforcement, patience and someone who can exercise him daily.
This is not a dog to sit home alone all day while you're away. He's too young and energetic for that lifestyle.
Adoption fee for Jax is $600
If you would like to adopt Jax, please email EMPTYPOCKETS1@NC.RR.COM for an application.
