Janie brings a smile of delight to the faces of everyone she meets. She has a big-dog dose of personality packed into a small dog body. She loves everybody and everything, and can’t wait to come over and say hello. Sometimes it takes longer that it should to get to you, because her nub of a tail is wagging so hard she ends up going sideways!
Janie is four months old. We never met either of her parents, so what they looked like is anyone’s guess. Janie currently weighs in at twelve pounds, so we don’t think she’ll grow very big.
Although small in size, she can hold her own with dogs of all sizes and ages. She loves to play, and is completely fearless.
Janie has ridden on motorcycles, visited markets, dined (and snoozed) in restaurants and taken long hikes in the forest. In short, she has had a myriad of great positive experiences and early stimulation. She is a well adjusted young puppy. She is very people oriented, loves children and gets along with all the dogs and cats she has met. She loves to ride in the car, walks beautifully on a leash, and has a solid hand target, nice “sit”, lured “down”, and short stay. She is being clicker trained (positive, food based training), and is extremely eager to learn new behaviors. She is smart and food-motivated, so is a joy to train. She is crate trained and sleeps through the night in a crate. She is still a puppy, so of course is not fully house trained, but she is doing well on a regular schedule and won’t make a mistake if kept on the schedule and supervised when inside.
Janie loves water and doesn’t just splash in puddles, but rather dives straight in, burying her muzzle and biting the water. She loves to fetch and adores a good game of tug. She carries her toys everywhere.
Janie is already spayed, and has two multi shots and her rabies vaccination. She is a fabulous puppy awaiting an equally fabulous family. Are you it?
