My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We hardly know what's sweeter, little Scout or the story of her rescue. This gorgeous little red girl was found stray in Crescent Hill. For weeks, the couple who rescued her searched for her home with no luck. Neighbors are sure that she was left behind by her family who moved. So Fred and Kathy got her fully vetted and microchipped and called us for help finding a foster or adopter for Scout. So why is this story different than the others? Well, Fred is wheelchair bound with considerable physical limitations that prevent him from walking or handling a non-service dog and Kathy is blind. She relies on her service dog, Jamie, to navigate the world. Despite the obvious challenges, Fred and Kathy brought Scout into their home and have managed to give her the chance at a happy life. And now they are asking for more capable hands to foster or adopt Scout. She is just under 2 yrs and only around 30lbs. Clearly, she is adorable. She is kid and dog-friendly. We have not cat tested.
