Stormy is a beautiful young Husky whose pictures do not do her justice. She came to SHRF as a result of her owner's unexpected passing and the family being unable to keep her. She has longer hair than usual for a Husky which is called a “Wooly” and makes for a strikingly gorgeous dog. When out and about, Woolies are famous for eliciting comments on their beauty.

She is very playful with both humans and dogs. Since Stormy grew up with several dogs, both big and small, she would likely do best in a home with other dogs as companions. It is unknown if she is cat friendly so caution in that respect is advised.

Stormy is very loving and sweet. She is a little shy when out in public and when she first meets someone, but quickly warms up to people once she knows there is some attention coming her way. Stormy travels well in the car, happy to tag along with her humans.

She has a funny eating habit of taking a mouth full of food from her bowl and carrying to another place where she will drop it and continue to eat. Stormy knows basic commands such as "sit", "shake", and "down". Although she does not like it, she is crated when left alone as she will get into mischief. In time, as she learns her house manners when no one is home, this will most likely change. Stormy does not need to be crated at night, much preferring to be near her humans.
