My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FOSTER LOCATION: Salt Lake City, UT

Hi! My name in Lena. I am just super sweet & a little special. My cuteness factor is through the roof!!! !! I am a DSH female gray little girl I was born in the middle of June 2015 so I’m still a baby. I am a little unique in that I was born with a disorder called Cerebellar Hypoplasia – but please keep reading – do not be scared – I promise you – all I really require is love. Lena’s condition is considered mild.
Cerebellar Hyposplasia is a disorder in which the cerebellum is not completely mature at birth. There are a few causes for this ranging from infection to malnutrition. The disease does not get better or worse with age & the cat will usually learn to compensate for it. They typically live a happy, healthy life with a normal life span. It is often commented that Cerebellar cats make great indoor house cats because they are not big jumpers, they typically like to remain within their immediate surroundings & they love their lap time.
Lena is spayed, current on vaccines & 100% litter box trained. She currently lives in a foster home with cats, dogs & kids. She is great with everyone & will have no problem adjusting to whomever lives in your home. Lena is very social & likes to hang out with the crowd.
