Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Booker. Booker is around one year old and a Bassett Hound mix. He entered the local high kill shelter and when his picture was posted, he had several “owners” who were going to come save him. Yet, he sat there for over two weeks and not one of the four individuals who stated he belonged to them came to break him free. We knew that we had to save him and make sure he found an owner who would truly love him and never leave him again.
Booker is a young guy and despite being tossed around so much at a young age, he is a loving guy who loves to be loved on. He is gets along great with his foster siblings (dogs, cats, and kids). He loves to have a sibling to play with but he would need a younger dog that could keep up with him. He absolutely adores kids and is very gentle with them. He enjoys going anywhere and loves to ride with his head poking out of the window. Booker is a fun boy and gets along with everyone at his foster moms house. He is house trained and sleeps with the foster mom’s son, which he says he is quite the bed hog.
Booker is heartworm negative, on monthly preventive, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations. Please consider adopting Booker and giving him the home he deserves.
