And now a few words from me:
Hi – I’m Nikki, a former mill dog who was lucky enough to be adopted through CDR just a few years ago. Unfortunately, through no fault of my own, my family was unable to care for me anymore and so I’m back and looking for a new (and final) forever home. I’m shy a few teeth, but that doesn’t stop me from eating my favourite treats: carrots & cauliflower (how else do you think I keep this slender figure?). I can be left alone for short periods and stay cuddled up on my bed snuggling with my toys until you return. I’m happy to sleep in my bed at night but would be more than happy to sleep in the big bed if you let me. I enjoy the company of my foster siblings but do well on my own as well. Foster mom thinks that I’m pretty easy-going. Could I be your girl?
And now a few words from my foster family:
Nikki is about as sweet as they come. She is a quiet and friendly dog who loves to cuddle with her humans. She enjoys lots of belly rubs and playing with her toys. Nikki is very good at sharing her food and toys with other dogs.
She would thrive in a low-energy home in a quiet neighbourhood, as big-city noises startle her, especially at night. An ideal family would also have someone home most of the time. Nikki needs patient owners that will boost her confidence. When her playful side comes out she’s charming and delightful, and will be a bring lots of joy to her new family.
