And now a few words from me:
My name is Charm, which suits me because I am quite charming. I am a petite long haired beauty with red flowing locks flecked with black strands. I have spent my whole life in a kennel so I am trying very hard to learn the rules of living in a home with my foster family. I try very hard to be brave in new situations. I really like being outside with the birds, grass and sun; it truly is a wonderful place and I walk very well on leash. I love the big bed but also don't mind sleeping in my crate. I like other dogs but children make me nervous therefore, I would prefer a home without or with older children only. I love car rides and although I am very patient when people want to pet me, strangers still make me nervous. In the two weeks I have been in foster care my foster mom says I have made tremendous progress, but I know I need to find a forever home who will continue to help me become a model canine-citizen!
And now a few words from my foster family:
Charm is a beautiful and brave little girl who is hungry for attention and love. She is very good at listening to instructions, learning commands and is very eager to please. She is patient and polite when being fed with four other dogs in the home but will growl if any of them approach her bowl while she’s eating. Housetraining is a work in progress but every day we see improvement. Charm wants so much to be loved, held and cuddled but she is still skeptical that hands aren't for hurting. She is becoming more trusting and will become a wonderful pet for one perfect family. She has discovered her voice and will bark at strange noises and people at the door but will go quiet when told to. Charm is very curious and is the first to investigate, especially when her best friend Ritzy is around! Charm is mostly indifferent to the other dogs in her foster home and selective with who she will engage in play. She would most likely be fine as an only dog if her family was home the majority of the time! Charm is a beautiful little girl inside and out and once she feels safe and learns to trust her humans, she is going to be a remarkable addition to one lucky family!
