My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pearl is an 8 year old Irian Jaya Blue Tongue Skink. Her tail is kinked due to a lack of calcium when she was younger but does not affect her as an adult. True to their nature, Pearl is shy and can be a little huffy when being handled but isn't aggressive. Blue Tongue Skinks generally need some time to get settled into a new home and accustomed to the environment.

Pearl will need to be housed in at least a 40 gallon breeder tank or larger. She arrived with a mild infection under her tail so cleanliness of her enclosure is crucial to ensuring the infection does not return. For more information on their care, read here: http://bluetongueskinks.net/care.htm
