Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ollie is an adorable, lovable 11.5 week old puppy. He is a robust, healthy boy but he has some vestibular challenges, caused by oxygen deprivation during birth. These challenges will most likely stay with him throughout his life and cause him to be quite wobbly on his feet. Ollie compensates wonderfully, but he trips and stumbles frequently and will often bump into things. He also will frequently lean to the side as he walks or tilt his head. For Ollie’s safety he should live in a home that has little to no stairs and preferably a fenced yard so he is always safe and secure. Ollie is a typical puppy who LOVES to play and explore the world around him. He is working on housetraining and doing fabulously with it. At his foster home he even goes out the doggie door on his own when he needs to take a potty break! Ollie will do best in a home where someone is around most of the time and that will also help him in his continued success with housetraining. He is crate trained and sleeps well at night as long as he can see his foster parents from his crate. When he is sleepy he loves to cuddle and be held in someone’s arms as he recharges his battery for the next round of play. There are two boys, ages 11 and 13 in his foster home, and Ollie loves to snuggle with them. Therefore a home with older, calm children would be suitable. There is a 1.5 year old Cavalier that Ollie plays with in his foster home. In spite of his mobility challenges, Ollie loves to run and play chase with his Cavalier foster brother and he likes to play in typical puppy style. They constantly entertain each other and Ollie is learning lots of good social skills and appropriate play behavior from his foster brother. Because Ollie is thriving with a playmate, we would like to find him a home that has another young, playful, non-dominant, small breed dog as a companion. To assist with the research efforts of the Cavalier Alliance, we are giving preference to adopters who will keep in touch and chart his growth and development for us (including photos and video) on a quarterly basis. If you think Ollie sounds like the right match for you and you are ready for love, laughter and kisses from this sweet boy, please fill out an application on our site: CavalierAlliance.org DOB: 12/2/14 Sex: Male Weight: 8 ½ lbs. Possibly 18-20 lbs. at maturity. Housetraining : Going well but will need to be continued in his new home. Health: Has some mobility challenges due to his vestibular issues. Temperament: Happy, playful, energetic, affectionate. Ideal home: Single level home with a fenced yard preferable. Older, calm children would be fine. Would like to see him placed in a home with another young, playful small breed dog. To learn more about Ollie and apply, please visit his page on CavalierAlliance.org
