My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ferguson is a sweet black & tan Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He is between 6 and 8 years old and was the beloved companion of an elderly owner. Ferguson loves squeaky toys, playing in the fenced yard, and taking walks with his foster family. He was raised as an only, but would do well with another small, calm dog. He's playing nicely with the dogs in his foster home and does best eating his meals separate from the others. This boy is in good health and had a dental just before joining our program. He is up-to-date on his vaccines and on monthly heart-worm preventative. He is 2-3 pounds overweight and will need to continue his weight loss in a new home. Since Ferguson has always had someone home with him, we are looking for a new family with someone home most of the day and without young children. Ferguson has had a bad experience with toddlers and very young children, so we don't want to add that stress back to his life.
