My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lulu is fostered in Beach Park, IL 60083 through United Yorkie Rescue.
To find out more about Lulu contact her foster momma: Donna_leggett118@yahoo.com
Lulu’s a sweet, 1 year old Yorkie-mix with a fluffy tail. She weighs 10 pounds but is a little underweight for her size, her shots and vaccinations are up to date and she’s been spayed and micro chipped. Lulu has been with United Yorkie Rescue since August and has been a delightful and loving little lady! She was surrendered for reason of constant barking, however so far this has not exhibited itself. It’s possible her environment was the culprit. She’s doing great with potty training and will go outdoors or on the potty pad indoors. She goes to the patio door and scratches to go out but she is not completely house broken. She walks very well on a leash. Being a young dog, Lulu is still considered a puppy so naturally she’s high energy and active so daily walks are essential.
She gets along well with children, and other dogs, but has not been around cats that we are aware of. Lulu likes people but is a little shy at first when meeting them and doesn’t want to be petted on her head until she gains trust. We're working on "sit" and "stay" as well as containing her excitement and not jumping on people. Lulu’s a smart little lady and has learned she gets rewarded with hugs and loving for good behavior. She’s very family oriented and wants to be with you, she’ll lie on your lap or beside you on the sofa for as long as you’ll let her.
Anyone looking for love, Lulu is your little lady! She’s looking for her furever home where she can go for walks, play, cuddles, and be a treasured part of the family. As Lulu grows and reaches adulthood, she’s going to be a very loyal, devoted and loving companion or family member. As Lulu is small, it would be best for her to not have any young children in the home, over 12 years is best.
