My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I was lonely boy wandering around in a neighborhood on my own. But, some of the good people that lived there called Texas Collie Rescue and they came and found me. Lucky for me that they did. It was so, so hot outside and I was just trying to find some shade. It was so nice to get inside from the heat. My fur was in such bad shape they shaved it all off and gave me a bath. But, from what they keep telling me I’m going to be a pretty good-looking guy when my coat grows out. I’m just a young boy of around two or three, good-natured, friendly, and I love attention. But, I am kind of active so I would need to have a buddy to play with. Not to toot my own horn…..but I am, I would make an excellent companion for you and your family. Scout is a sweet, sweet boy and will be a gorgeous collie when his fur grows out. He had been severely neglected and his fur was matted beyond saving. We don’t like to shave them but in his case it was a necessity. He loves attention and probably has had very little attention in his young life. More than likely he was put outside and left there. He is young and active and would need another dog to play with. Presently he is being fostered in the Dallas area. If you are interested in him please fill out an application.
