My story

Introducing Mac! Mac is dachshund mix, young, active, bouncy, and ready to play. As you can see, he is recovering from what appears to be some kind of chemical burn on his back. We don't know if the burn is from a bad reaction to a flea/tick medication or from something else. But it's healing up very nicely and has no effect on his overall health or on his happy, loving personality.

Mac is about 2 years old, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations.

Our adoption process is simple. We ask you to complete a one-page application. An interview will then take place in your home. There will be no adoption fee. Donations, though, will be appreciated. Adoptions outside of Northwest Arkansas are not out of the question. We welcome sincere inquiries from anywhere, and we’re happy to work with long-distance applicants.
