My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shelby is our special little girl. She is petite, standing not quite 8 inches tall and weighing in at a whopping 4 pounds. Shelby is estimated to be about 10 years old, yet she is just beginning her new life. Her foster family tells us that she is so sweet, loves to be held and rarely barks. Shelby has bilateral cataracts that impair her vision but she seems to get along well once she gets comfortable in her environment. We feel Shelby would do well with another small dog in the home, she gets along very well with her current housemate papillons. Shelby has made tremendous progress since arriving into our rescue, her health was in such poor condition that she could barely walk. This little girl is a fighter though, just check out her video! Shelby now runs after her foster dad- we have no doubt that Shelby will continue to blossom in a loving furever home.
