My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

NOODLE!! This 3 year handsome boy was saved from the AZ Humane Society's euthanasia list after a long battle with deep dermatitis. He was in horrid shape when he was first rescued. His body was covered in a thick crust on his head, neck and abdomen, and consequently Noodle endured many months of peroxide baths. It's not surprising that he escaped with a few battle wounds, but he has come such a long way! His coat is almost entirely filled in. This 42 lb boy is as quirky and lovable as they come! Noodle is not good with small dogs and most cats, but he may do well with another larger dog in his forever home. He's still a bit anxious from time to time due to his past, so the hustle and bustle of a busy house and small children are not really his style. We feel he would do best as either a single dog, or in a home with elementary school aged children, and a routine environment. It can sometimes take a little for Noodle to trust new people, but he is a loving pup that enjoys lying on your lap and is an absolute ham for attention. He is innately very sweet. Noodle is active and enjoys life! He likes to stretch his legs regularly, either in a yard or on long walks, hiking, and even jogging next to a bicycle. But, he is not quite ready for a dog park. He also loves to sunbathe, pounce in baby pools, play keep-a-way, watch TV, and soak up the breeze on a car ride. He will sit, come, and shake like a champ for a treat, and is currently working on lying down. Noodle likes to feel safe and always enjoys a good hug, especially during rainstorms. He will give kisses on command with his spotty tongue and greet you joyfully when you come home, often with ear nibbles. He is both kennel and doggie-door trained. It's time for Noodle to go a forever home that will continue to spoil him with couch time and love.
