My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rusty is the quintessential gentle giant. Rusty gets along very well with other dogs, loves cats and all people. Heartworm negative and very healthy, his very recent physical on August 31, showed him to be in excellent shape, good strong pulses etc. UTD on all shots, Rusty is nine years old. He has been with the same family since he was a puppy. His veterinary history came with him. Rusty comes to rescue because his owner moved to breed restricted housing in South Florida. Grandparents tried to keep him, but they travel too much in their retirement. Rusty was being left with other relatives while they traveled and grandparents decided this was just too unfair to the dobielove. He needs a real home! Easy keeper, always happy, desperate to find his forever home. His last BFF was a cat. Grandparents relate the cat misses him too. Fostered in Tallahassee. Please write to Judy@Dobie-Rescue.org
