Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Smokey, Dotty's mother, came to us on July 21, 2015, very pregnant, rescued from a kill shelter in Louisiana, where we suspect she was dumped simply because she was pregnant. Six days later, on July 27, 2015, she delivered 10 healthy, robust lab mix babies! Dotty was the fourth born. She is a female, and as of this listing is 6 1/2 weeks old. Photos were taken on 9/9/15. Dotty is and always has been the smallest of the litter, but has no trouble keeping up with all 9 of her siblings! She will likely be petite like her mama. She is primarily black, with a large splotch of white on her chest, and a small white dot on the back of her neck (hence her name). She is described by her foster as very active, inquisitive, and "small but mighty". She also likes other dogs. Please note, the last picture is of their mother, Smokey.
Prior to adoption, all of Smokey's puppies will have been dewormed, spayed/neutered (9/23/2015), microchipped, started on heartworm prevention, and vaccinated with age appropriate vaccines. All puppies are pee pad training, and have learned to go to the bathroom outdoors, but will need consistent schedule of potty breaks about every 2 hours to maintain the progress they have made with housebreaking. None of the puppies are crate trained, as we have had them housed with their mama in a bedroom since birth.
Interested adopters please email MJsAnimalSanctuary@gmail.com to request an adoption application. All adopters subject to reference check, meet n greet, home visit, and vet reference. You must be VERY specific on your application where the puppy will be during the day, at night, and when left alone. If not, your application will be rejected, as we are anticipating more applications for this litter than we can handle. Adoption fee applies.
