Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Name: Sweet Pea

Age: Approx. 7 yrs 1 mos in Sept. ’15
Weight: Approx. 9 lbs (needs to lose a little)
Energy Level: Low
Apartment Appropriate: No apartments

Good w/ Cats: Unknown
Good w/ Kids: Sweet Pea should do well with kids 12 years and older.
Comments: Sweet Pea may not like to have her picture taken, but she sure likes to be the star in real life! She is the definitive velcro pup. She has gotten along beautifully with the other small dogs in her home and will even lay with them to nap, but she is not playful with them, so we think she would manage fine as an only dog if someone is home most of the time. Sweet Pea gets some separation anxiety, so if someone isn’t home most of the day, she would probably do best with another small, friendly dog as company. She has not shown much friendliness towards larger dogs. Sweet Pea was found dumped in a box with two large puppies. We don’t know how someone could throw this sweetie away. She is lovely and very sweet. Her thyroid levels are on the low side, so we are experimenting with medication to see if it helps with the little bit of extra weight she is carrying. Sweet Pea has done really well with her housebreaking. She likes to talk to you (especially if she feels you aren’t giving her the attention she deserves!), so will not do well in an apartment situation. A mellow home with a lap to sit in is really all this girl is asking for. If you’d like that home to be yours, please fill out an application to meet Sweet Pea today!
