My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chester needs a new home! This guy will melt your heart. About 3 years old (maybe older), good with dogs and cats. We recommend he go to a home with no children under 5 yo as he is very fearful. Sadly, he will need heartworm treatment but it wont be too horribly expensive as he is only 15 pounds. Available now for adoption or rescue transfer.
Chester's age is perplexing. We were told by the owner who surrendered him that he is 16 months old. His teeth suggest otherwise tho. Shelter manager thinks 3 yrs maybe even 4. A vet tech said his teeth indicate he is about 7 years. When the former owner was queried about the conflict, he got very offended and swore the dog is 16 months old. Regardless, Chester will need a dental cleaning asap. Chester is a super sweet little guy but is easily frightened so we recommend him to a home without very young children who won't know how to be polite to him.
