Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Gandalf the Grey is feral colony rescue. He is a friendly stray who is about 2 and a half years old.
Gandalf is playful, and has a "silent purr" (one you can't hear, but can feel the vibration). He is very affectionate, and has adjusted very quickly to becoming a lap cat! We call him our "Loverboy".
Although he would prefer to be the only pet, Gandalf is adjusting to living with other cats and a dog. Whether he gets along with your resident animals will be dependent on the their personality. For example, Gandalf gets long well with my dog and male and female domestic short hairs, but NOT my male Siamese or other male foster domestic short hair. In general, once a cat has presented him/herself to be a threat to him, he does not forget it, and will act aggressively toward that cat relentlessly.
Gandalf has one rather minor health problem: His digestive system requires a grain-free diet. He does remarkably well with Nature's Variety Instinct kibble.
* Gandalf needs a family who has the time to provide him with daily exercise in order to control his weight. * He has taken to walking with a harness and leash quite naturally. See video.
Gandalf has tested negative for FIV and FeLV, is up to date on vaccinations, is neutered, micro-chipped and is being fostered in Southwest New Jersey - just across the bridge from Philadelphia, PA.
