My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ricky is a quiet, slightly shy Black & Tan longhaired dachshund. "Little" Ricky is about 6 years old, weighs 14 pounds and is just a super sweet boy that wants to please his guardian and be unconditionally loved the rest of his life. His BFF is Hans. They bring out the best qualities in each other and play endlessly together. Ricky walks very nicely on leash, he likes to play, definitely loves car rides and he has been 100% reliable regarding house training.

Ricky and Hans will do best in a home with respectful children 9 years or older, no large, aggressive or highly alpha dogs and an environment where he will not be crated all day. Ricky and Hans must be adopted together.

Our adoption process includes completing & submitting an online adoption application, a home visit, reference checks including veterinarian. Ricky is fully vetted and available for Colorado adoption only. His adoption fee is $225.00.
