My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sweet boy is Canelo. After a rough start to life, he is ready to be someone's loyal companion. He adores attention as he has gone so long with out it. He is ready to start a new chapter in life and find his "happily ever after." Canelo grew up on a short chain with a big dilapidated dog house that did not keep him warm. Poor Canelo is missing a piece of his ear and tongue and may of been attacked by some sort of animal while on the chain. Shortly after finding him chained, we built him a kennel and freed him, but he then fell severely ill. Canelo was immediately surrendered and rushed to the vet. He spent a long time at the vet recovering. He is now looking and feeling great! He is ready to flourish! Canelo is great with other dogs, loves walks, and would make a great couch buddy this football season as you cheer on your favorite team!
