My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

EXTRA SPECIAL ATTENTION, PLEASE! :) This is Brutus! He is a 50 lb bundle of personality and puppy energy. He was adopted from ANBAR as a puppy. This summer, his family moved and surrendered him to a shelter. We are lucky to have him back and help him prepare for his new beginning. We just learned that Brutus's hearing is impaired, after his foster home observed that he was not responding to normal sounds. He was recently checked by a veterinarian, who explained that there appears to be scar tissue formation due to previous ear infections that had been left untreated. The positive note is that Brutus is able to hear high pitch whistles and is quickly learning how to respond to these prompts, as well as hand signals.

Brutus is about 2 years old and neutered. He gets along well with other dogs and likes older children.He is wonderfully affectionate and needs lots of daily exercise. He would be in doggie heaven to find a loving forever family who enjoys playtime and walks. Please email us at adoptions@anbrescue.org.
