This is Ivy! This adorable came to us as a rescue from a shelter in New Mexico. Sadly, her owner died unexpectedly, leaving her and 3 other dogs behind. The Positive News is that they are all with ANBAR. Ivy is a Pomchi (Pomeranian-Chihuahua mix) and about 3 years old. Understandably, she is a little shy but warms up quickly. She is great with other small dogs and playful. She seems to enjoy people food, so we think her owner may have indulged them. But she is learning to enjoy dog food. She would do best in a home with older children. Ivy is in foster care with Candy (Chihuahua-Terrier mix) together. They grew up together and have a wonderful friendship. They would be in doggie heaven to be adopted together. In an effort to place them in the same home, their adoption fees are reduced. Ivy's adoption fee is $150; Candy, $125. INTERESTED? Please email us at adoptions@anbrescue.org.
