My story

Meet Candy!

Candy was found in a college campus. When she was found, she was very weak and suffered a skin disease that left her with missing patches of fur. We later found out that she was abandoned by her former owner after scanning her microchip implant. However, we could not find her former owner and couldn’t find any way to contact him.

The day we found Candy was very cold, the conditions were not ideal for anyone living without a home. Our rescuer brought Candy directly to the animal hospital, where we found out that she was very brave. It was determined that Candy was in such a state that she may not have made it if she had been out there for much longer. Luckily for her, she was treated and brought back to health. She is now as healthy as ever and up to date with her vaccinations and spayed for her long term health.

Candy is mild in temper and doesn’t bark. She is intelligent and has learned to socialize with other people and animals. Her confidence is has been much improved since the day of her rescue. She is house trained, she understands people’s commands, and knows her name. She sit and wait for your command and keep eye contact the entire time. She is such a loyal dog that is looking for a forever home.
