Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Handsome Alan is a wonderful cat! He is a young cat of 4 to 5 years. He's neutered, felv/fiv tested (negative), and vaccinated. He is playful but would prefer a home as an only cat or perhaps one other (he can be bossy with other cats so he most likely would never be good buddies with another cat). Alan was originally from an animal control facility where he spent well past his allowed time there. The animal control staff kept him because he was such a good boy. His previous owners were contacted (through his microchip) and decided they didn't want him back. Who can resist those emerald green eyes? Alan adores attention and can be pushy when he wants to be held.He enjoys "helping" his foster family read the newspaper or try to work on the computer. He has longer fur that needs frequent brushing to avoid tangles. He may need to be trimmed/groomed in order to avoid his tangles. He enjoys being brushed but gets antsy after a while. When Alan is not in his foster home, he gets to spend a few days a week at the adoption cages at the Petco in Roseville. He likes to walk on a leash, so many times he can be seen walking through the store on his leash with a volunteer. Alan also got to help out as a distraction during a Petco puppy training class - he thoroughly enjoyed it and met the puppies quite well too. Don't forget toys - Alan LOVES his catnip-filled toys and Temptation treats (he expects those). Did we mention that Alan likes to give hugs too. When you pick him up, he wraps his legs around your neck. To find out more, please email Cause for Paws at cause4paws@hotmail.com or call us at 952-259-1483. Adoption fees are $130. Thank you.
