My story

Hi! I'm Maverick. I'm the reason there is a PixaLily Foundation. See the day I was rescued was the day my rescuers decided go open this foundation. I was found on a back country highway wondering and playing in the road. My rescuer pulled over and say I had cigarette burns on my face and I was very malnourished and emaciated. She took me straight to the vet and I finally started to feel better. I was only 17 weeks old and very scared. But I grew up a little and wasn't so scared anymore. When I was about 6 months old I found what I thought was my furever home. We'll after 8 months of being there my adopter decides to move to Colorado and didn't want to take me. So here I am back again. But that's ok because I know my real forever home is out there somewhere!
